Have you had your thyroid checked? Mine was like that before I was diagnosed hypothyroid

When did you last have your full bloods checked? If it is not within the last couple of years perhaps you could give your gp surgery a nudge. My hair has been thinning and I am have bald patches because of low iron. I have been prescribed iron tablets, but please don't self medicate as your hair problems may be different.

Yes hun it's temporary mine falls out and grows back u can by regain mouse from boots it's brilliant regrows your hair also eat lots of greens xxxx

It's also stated in one of the 200 fibro symptoms temporary hair loss xxx

Hi Keerylou mine was falling out quite a bit and thinning so I had my long hair cut I now take 2000 of vitamin D as recommended by my GP as my bloods showed nothing regarding thyroid I am happy to report after taking the vitamin D my hair is now thicker and growing a lot faster oh sorry forgot to add my body just does not retain vitamin D but the downside the hair on my legs also grows now lol 🥰

Morning Kerry

I also suffer from this badly!

Especially around the front of my head.

Iv been using plantur shampoo for hair loss & the toner the do as well.

Iv also stopped putting box colour on my hair as i know that don’t help!

Hope this helps. ❤️

Peri-menopause can also cause hair to drop out. As can hormine fluctuations. How old are you?

I would get a thyroid check which includes TPO antibodies also worth checking Iron and Ferritin levels

under active thyroid, menapause and Fibro cause this. I have all 3, lucky me. Get GO to check your bloods. I also use ROOTS fromSuperdrug shampoo, there is a whole range that really helps. If I switch shampoo for even one wash I loose 3 times more. I also take supplements for Hair, Skin and Nails from Superdrug or Boots which helps. As these are Certain types of B vitamins, make sure you aren’t taking them elsewhere. Really as made such a difference to me. Even my hairdresser was surprised.

Had blood checked a few years ago and my B 12 was none existent so now have injections every three months , i was told at the time symptoms include hair loss and memory loss

and the B 12 would stop the hair loss and memory loss but cannot regain what i have already lost .

I have been trying the expensive shampoos and no results but will go to superdrug and have a look . Thankyou
