Hi and a warm welcome to our community. Here you will find information, support, friendship and laughter too. You will find general information on fibromyalgia at fmauk.org
Do you have a fibro diagnosis? If not, I would suggest arranging an appointment with your GP, to eliminate any other potential causes of your symptoms.
Hi there, sorry to hear that you are suffering right now.
I agree that you really need to discuss things with your GP and get a proper diagnosis.
In the mean time, If too fatigued, then only do what you really have to, everything else will still be waiting for you when you are feeling up to it. Prioritise what is most important to you; learn to "Pace" any activity, yes this will mean tasks will take longer to do; but you should feel better afterwords. Also, I will always advise that you do something enjoyable every day, even if it's just enjoying a cuppa sitting at the window, watching the world go by.
I know this is all easier said than done, and yes it's an effort(Quite a new way of life for myself) but staying as positive and stress free is extremely important.
I find guided meditation helpful and relaxing, You Tube is pretty good.
You could try Epsom Salts in a bath to try and easy your aching muscles.
We are all so hard on ourselves and live in such a fast paced environment (well, maybe not quite, right now), we are so use to doing everything as if it's needed yesterday; slow down, stop giving yourself a hard time; you are doing the best you can. Communicate with those around you, they can not feel what you feel.
I hope you get some relief from your symptoms soon.
You are bound to gain some wisdom from the wonderful people here, best wishes with it all.
Remember and be kind to yourself.
Stay safe, keep well and be strong.
I am sorry to hear that you are suffering with pain, anxiety and depression. All classic symptoms.
I am still also coming to terms with my illness and struggled to do anything.
I totally understand what you are going through. It is hard to give you advice as we all cope differently but I found the following poem which helps me
If the mountain seems to big today then climb a hill instead
If the morning brings you sadness it's ok to stay in bed
If the day ahead weighs heavy and your pains are like a curse there's no shame in rearranging don't make yourself feel worse
If a shower stings like needles and a bath feels like you will drown
If you haven't washed your hair for days don't throw away the crown
A day is not a lifetime
A rest is not a defeat
Don't think of it as a failure just a quiet kind retreat
It's ok to take a moment from an anxious fractured mind the world will it stop turning while you get yourself realigned
The mountain will still be there when you want to try again
You can climb it in your own time
Just live yourself til then.
I hope that helps
Sending love and hugs

I have it printed out on one of my kitchen cupboards so just reminded me each day
Take care and look after yourselves
