Hi I’m new to the group I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia back in November was hoping for some advise on what medications are best for the pain.

Welcome to FMAUK Community! I am sorry you’ve recently been diagnosed but I also know it can be a relief to know what it is - in my case it was anyway.

Living with Fibromyalgia usually means that people do many things (ie take medications, reduce stress, gentle exercise, complementary therapies etc) and that is considered the best way to reduce the impact of symptoms. It can take a while to find what works for you, to learn pacing & listening to your body.

Many members here will be able to tell you their experiences and what they find helpful. We’re here to listen and try to impart any tips we’ve learnt too.
