Good luck with your new home I hope you are very happy there. A bungalow is going to be so much easier for you it was the best thing we did. I visited my brother in law today who lives in a house (haven't done stairs in several years) and really struggled with the stairs so pleased I don't have to tackle them now. Just a hint, whatever you are thinking of taking halve it as masses of our stuff ended up in the garage as I overestimated the storage we would have, lol. Let us know how you get on.x
Thinking of you on your first Christmas without her.
Thankfully, our memories are like Treasure stored in our hearts that nothing can take away.
Hope you can get some rest now and maybe take things slowly when you start working on the move again.
God Bless x
xXx
Hi Hitman, so very sorry to hear about the sad loss of your wife. Hope the move goes smoothly and the flare eases a bit...I downsized 4 years ago and it's the best thing I did as I lived in our cottage for.another 3 years after I lost my hubby. I know how difficult everything is for you just now, people say it gets easier but in my opinion it doesn't it gets different. Sending gentle hugs. Xx love to you too Misty
So sorry to hear that; You must miss her. Do you find 'letting go' of stuff with memories hard to do?
I do, my husband died 28 years ago, and I'm still hanging on to stuff. I am also moving to a bungalow, but 260 miles away! Packing with the Fibro is pure torture, and the flares make it worse. Also I don't drive, so dependent on others to help, and I hate asking for help!
