Hi all, I'm new to this community, I have been suffering with Fibromyalgia for 12 years and spinal osteoarthritis with severe nerve damage. I feel I need more support from people who understand how I'm feeling, not just physically but mentally as well. I try to live a normal life and work and enjoy times, but it can be super hard sometimes and I'm currently feeling like it's all a bit much. I just wantes ro reach out and talk to someone who feels like I do. Thank you 🙂

Thanks for saying hi, I'm sorry to hear you have had to stop working, this must be so hard to adjust. How are you feeling about it?

I feel crappy about it and sometimes useless as I’m only 41 and am used to caring for others xx

I understand, I'm 30 and feel useless! I hate the thought that this is it for the rest of my life... I struggle with work and needing time to rest and sleep. xx

So sorry you are having such a bad time. Hope knowing we are all friends on here; understand what you are going through, and care helps. Wish I could offer some practical advice, other than my best friend is my hot water bottle as I can't take the meds. Try pacing, resting or even take a short nap when you can. I also find if I am feeling really low listening to music helps to lift my mood. Best wishes. x

Thank you for responding, it is just nice to know other people truly understand me. Thank you for the advice, I am permanently attached to my hot water bottle too lol I shall try the music idea definitely! xx
