Hi I'm New on here so hope your all having a good day. . I get high rate pip but don't claim anything else as my husband works .not sure if to claim esa .not sure if I could cope with the interviews

Generally, if one of you is working , you won't be able to claim, but it is always worthwhile checking with a benefits advisor at your local council or with CAB.

I wouldn't rock the boat if u get good pip..I doubt you would get esa,my sister tried it is means tested but look into attendance allowance

Hi I get high rate PIP and also get ESA contribution based which isn’t means tested because it goes off your own national insurance contributions from working. I have been retired due to ill health since 2008. I am in the support group and you don’t keep getting assessed. Also if you are on high rate PIP the Council will put you in a lower council tax band, but you apply to them direct . Hope this helps
