Its been a while since I have written on this forum.... I've been dealing and doing alot since the last time I posted. For those who cant rember me i have be dealing with fibro for around 4 years now. Things have gotten better but also worse. I was put on pregabalin a low does but it seems to be effective for the most part controls the majority of my pain and even helps me get a little extra sleep.
I have also seen a physio and psychologist to help. My pain has generally gotten better. However the fatigue, tiredness, headaches, stress and anxiety aren't getting much better to the point I am seriously struggling to cope with it all.....
I have seen drs and consultants but they can only help so much. I dont really have anyone I can communicate with about my illness and how it impacts me..... I'm hoping by coming back to this forum I can get some help.... even if it's just to chat or give others advice
Thank you for listening
Jessica

Hi Jessica - sorry you are struggling - I was put on different drugs to help with my pain and walking when first diagnosed but some helped but side effects were awful - so I am now nearly drug free apart from the odd sleeping tablet and pain killer - I get awful days now and then - but find they are always started with overdoing it or stress so I really try and stay calm (yes a difficult one) - hope you feel better soon - neese
This is of interest to me as my GP and pain management team have decided it is best for me to come off gaberpentine this week and start progab next week. I can't tolerate the increase of gaberpentine as it causes me to have a migraine. I feel like I'm stuck with either head or body pain.
Hi Jessica and welcome back, can relate to you as have Cfs along side my fibro so I know what tiredness, heads , feel like, my doctor put me on duloxtene over a year ago and my anxiety/depression are down 99percent, has worked brilliant for me personally so long may it continue, I take one tablet 60mg a day I have sleep apnea too and sleeping with a mask on which is not easy I’m sleeping quite good and more positive in myself, good to have a chat to each other here xx
