Hi Has anybody started getting little blister like lumps on their fingers near the joints? My hands have become more stiff and I have noticed puffiness on my knuckles.I’m seeing the doctor about my ring finger as it’s locking and clicks when I put it back to normal. I hate going to the doctor as they tend to associate everything as a symptom of Fibromyalgia when they know you have it.I Just wanted to know if this is just another symptom to add to the list or if it might be something else.

Your symptoms could be related to a number of conditions. The safest bet is to see your GP. I worked as a nurse for many years and have come across a couple of conditions that may relate to your symptoms. One of them being a type of gout where crystals gather in the small peripheral joints. However that at best is one of many possibilities. Your GP will be able to eliminate many possibilities by simple blood tests. Any new symptom should be investigated. Go see your GP.

Do you have Psoriasis? If so it could be Pustular psoriasis. I have it and have little itchy burstable pustules on my palms and fingers and the soles of my feet. I also have psoriatic arthritis which affects all the small joints. Your ring finger could be de typchens which affects the ligaments in the ring finger but your Dr will confirm. I don't think either are necessarily part of fibromyalgia but the puffiness soreness etc of the joints sounds more like a form of arthritis. Fibromyalgia compromises your immune system so you are more likely to get odd things.

I have mild guttate psoriasis and my GP believes I may have a mi!d form of pustular psoriasis. Her specialty is Dermatology. My own very rarely break but are a pain at times especially on the soles.

Hi if these feel like hard , bony lumps on the finger joints. Feel sore to the touch then you may have Heberdons nodes. I have suffered for years with this, it is a form of Arthritis. They are very painful to the touch. Good luck with seeing your Dr.
