Well let’s see if double dose off Amitriptyline work !

So dr today say double dose of Amitriptyline along with Prozac tonight ! Let’s hope I finally get night sleep without pain and restless legs ! Night .... going bed now as been up since 3 am 🤪 sweet dreams 🙏

Try magnesium for restless legs. Either a supplement ( check with pharmacist it’s ok with your meds) or a magnesium spray on your calves and soles of your feet at bedtime. I leave it a few minute to absorb then wipe off as I don’t like the feel of it left on my skin.

Dizzy I am surprised you are on both Amitriptlene & Prozac, I was on 150mg of Amitrip to try & help with my restless legs & to help with sleep, but after a really rough patch diagnosed with Bulimia so counsellor & dr at eating disorder clinic wanted to put me on Prozac, having discussed it with my gp we cut down on my amitrip & started Prozac, I wasn’t allowed to be on both as they were the same type of anti depressant. Maybe things have changed since then. Hope you find something to help with your lack of sleep, I’m still trying to to find something to get regular sleep, though my mom said as a young child I’d get up at silly o’clock saying I can’t sleep 50 off years later I’m still trying to find a “normal” nights sleep

Hi Dizzy112, my doctor told me more than 20+yrs ago to stop the amitripttyline because my heart rate jump up to 130bpm just walking a short distance to the bathroom and back to the living room. So I stopped it and sleep did not happen. ........🤔.?.....later...oh....later I got distracted again. Have you tried melatonin? One of my doctors suggested taking it around 7-7:30pm and it usually makes me sleepy around 10:30-11:00pm.

My husband has restless leg syndrome and he takes requip. It works good for him. 😊💕🦋

I'm from the U.S. here we go to Dr and he'll give you a script for Mirapex it stops the restless leg. Believe me it's wonderful. Love susiejo1948
