Hi the body sometimes needs rest. If you take certain meds they can make tiredness worse. The trick is to try and regulated sleep. Its the technology that can help. Mobile phones can ring alarms for you so stretching/movements are in a routine. Really hope you can see more of the day .Heatwave means us Brits have got something else to moan about and the media can focus on better topic than current politics!
Can relate to your tiredness as have a combination of treated sleep apnea /cfs/fibro, sorryvto hear of the chronic pain, my tiredness with the cfs sometimes can put way my fibro symptoms, yes drinks , lemon slices, ice cubes all at the ready and a canopy I can get under the shade, not that hot today in Suffolk, perhaps tomorrow it will start, oh yes my fan that’s a must , take care xx
Dreading the weather getting any hotter. I don’t remember being this bad last year but finding this summer really hard to cope with. Tired and aching ( especially legs) the whole time. All I can suggest is drink lots of water and make sure you have enough salt intake but whether that’ll help is anyone’s guess.
Hi Pip, I know a lot of us suffer with tiredness, it's part of the fibro for some, but have you had any test for it? I only mention this because a friend has an under active thyroid and was sleeping the whole day away and all night, she's on the mend now but it was pretty scary as she has other health problems and it was being put down to that. Unfortunately a lot is blamed on fibro and that's not always the case. Let us know how get on. Hugs Linda xx
A friend of mine, a fellow fibromyalgia sufferer for many many years found herself in hospital with life threatening problems after suffering a bout of acute pain. She was bravely trying to help it pass but if her family hadn’t intervened and called an ambulance she may not be with us today. Once she had been stabilised the doctors informed her of many things wrong with her and that she should “listen to her body more.”
We're our own worst enemies at times, i know I ignore a lot of what goes on, it is only when something goes on for too long or becomes unbearable that I give in and go to the doctor.
I too feel tired all the time and today I feel dreadful pain alover I just want to lie down this is the worst I have felt for a long time could it be a flair up I don't know.
I start taking magnesium for my tiredness and I really felt a difference now I am drinking ginger shots and finger water so that it's boots my energy and calm down the inflammation in my body. I hope it will help u as well.
