Rheumatologist Appointment - First timer

Hey guys.

Just wondering what to expect at your first rheumatologist appointment? My GP has referred me and I have awful anxiety and like to try to be prepared!

I would take a husband/sister etc with you.I find comfort knowing someone is supporting me and can remember things doctor says.you can ask for report sent to you too aswell when he writes back to your gp.

Put all your med history down in bullet form plus how your illness is affecting you.,take prescription of what meds you're taking.tell him where you hurt.he should examine you and order blood tests and x rays.
