Hello 🤗 I have Fibromyalgia and Osteoarthritis. I work as a medical receptionist in a busy community clinic. A job I love, but, I'm finding it increasingly difficult to cope with due to a combination of extreme fatigue and widespread pain. I have nerve damage to my left foot and lower leg. So use a pair of elbow crutches to mobilise. I would love to hear anyone's experience of similar symptoms.

healthunlocked.com/fibromya..., Hi there and welcome, it is very hard to keep going and a shame it’s a job you love, can they reduce your hours or slightly shorter days, hoping you get some replies off members that are currently working as I had to stop part time through fibro/cfs, I have also posted a link for you above it gives you more privacy and only our members can see. I have cut my hours to 16 a week now still very hard but need to have some normality speak to them about flexibility in your workin hours it is classed as a reasonableness adjustment and you are covered under the disability act so they should accommodate you or find some other work in your area for you to do that is what has happened to me they have given me a different work stream back office stuff to do hope you get what you need and do t have to give up your job you can also ask access to work to come in they are brilliant they can advise on what you need to stay in work and work with your employer to get it sorted out they can also help with mental health taxis and physio go online to gov.org you can apply there for help from them
