No response from DWP about PIP appeal

Hello I'm new on here and I'm in need of some information.

I received an email from the Appeal tribunal to tell me that the DWP haven't responded to them asking for information.

However I received this information a fortnight ago to say they were against the appeal.

Is this a common occurrence and shall I just assume it's been lost?

I did get the DWP letter saying they disagree about the appeal but they haven't sent the same letter to the tribunal. I sent all my doctors letters to the tribunal.

This appeal is about changing from DLA to PIP. The only ever claim I made was when I was first ill seven years ago and never had to do it since.

They will use any tactic to deny you payment, tell them immediately by phone that you have set it and will do so again, make sure you get proof of posting. Also get assistance from disability rights or citizens advice or welfare advice; most can do it over the phone: who can show on your behalf that you are getting help with your application. This did happen to me and it went all the way to tribunal where I won, but they still delayed payment saying they were considering whether or not to appeal the tribunal, so I phoned my MP and payment was made in 10 mins!

This what confuses me. Tribunal has received everything from me including the reasons I disagree and all my doctors letters. I had help writing to the DWP by the citizens advice but the pack I received with all the reasons they were against me hasn't been sent to the tribunal as well. They're writing to them again to ask why they've not replied to the tribunal

Get a copy of the letters you have had from the dwp and send them on to the tribunal people telling them that this is what you have received from dwp as they won't know.

It's a scare tackiest from dwp hoping that you will drop it.

Thank you. As you can tell with all the questions I was indefinate for both ESA and the old DLA after being diagnosed with neurobehcets. This is the first time I've had to fight for anything and I'm clueless / scared

Surely if dwp can't be asked to reply to the tribunal and you have presented all the evidence to the tribunal they should find in your favour

Don't assume anything, don't wait for someone to explain. Proactively ask questions in writing and get Citizens advice to handle communication for you. Take it all the way, the appeals Tribunal you are entitled to a fair hearing. The DWP does not get to tell you that you can't take it to tribunal.
