Needing some guidance ..

Hi there I am actually writing to anyone who knows and lives with fibro. How it was diagnosed and how to get the help needed if this is what I did have . I've actually recently within the last year been diagnosed with CREST syndrome and reynauds as secondary condition. Now I'm not 100% convinced .. I have a wide spread of symptoms that make me worry that I'm not on the right track . I've been put of beta blockers and calcium channel blockers to help me and I haven't found anything yet that has helped . But I also dont understand why I have vertigo and numbness in my body they cannot explain and the constant pain in my shoulder I get and the swishing sounds in my head like their liquid swishing around . They make me feel like I'm making this all up . I'm always too tired and forget everything as far as what meds I'm even on. Its ridiculous so I'd like to reach out to someone who may have the right answers in helping me understand more about fibro or if I'm just supost to trust in the health care /rheumatologist system I have and go along with it

I was diagnosed by a rheumatologist but ended up going privately as there was a 6 month wait on the NHS. I’ve seen him twice since in a local hospital. He prescribed Amitriptyline which is working at night for me. Day time medication I’m still trying different ones to find the right combination. I’ve been on a functioning Conditioning course and am seeing a physio 1 to 1 in a couple of weeks and can then have a personalised plan with the physio in the sports centre for 4 weeks. I also started a chronic pain course last week (I’ve posted about it if you want to read it) hope this info helps a bit 😀😀
