Hi, because of my pain and life changes I am feeling down. Got sent for an assessment? Who's diagnosis with in an hour, was I have emotional borderline personality disorder? Which is very common in people with fibromyalgia! Now being sent to see a psychiatrist, has anyone else been told this?

Nothing really they just gave me more tablets, and I'm waiting for an appointment xx

Hi. It sounds like that’s a fancy way to say you’re crazy. If I got paid for every time I heard that/similar phrase I would be a wealthy person. Don’t accept that. Keep searching until someone listens to you and cares about your reality.

Ask friends/family or others on here for recommendations of good drs. to go too. I kept this up until I found one that tested my DNA for an extremely rare form of Erythromelalgia...I’m one of three globally with this form. But it took several doctors before I got the diagnosis on paper and can prove I am NOT crazy!!! Persevere and get your answers too. You deserve to have a dr. that treats you with respect and ethical/moral care.
