Hi Jan-bell

I really don't know without being there with you, but are they trying to say a certain piece of evidence you gave was not allowed to be used maybe? Please do not post a picture as it will contain personal details about yourself.

So, your letter with the decision has only just been sent yesterday, is that what you are saying? We need to await the decision then...if so, that's good news for now isn't it as you thought it was a 'no' and it might be a 'yes'. Is that right?

Can a friend or the Citizens Advice Bureau help you to find out what this recent letter is saying maybe?

I wish you all the best for the decision letter and have fingers and toes crossed for you :)

Emma :)

👌🤞

Hi Jan

Is it very expensive to phone their number ? Is it easy to get through? Was wondering if there is any point in calling again and asking if they could tell you the decision? Say you understand the letter has been posted but as you haven't received it yet you need to know because you've had nothing to live on fof 5 months and in debt from borrowing. Sop if you were not successful with your appeal then you need to make fresh claim immediately.

Ask also - if disallowed - would you automatically receive a different benefit or need to make a back-dated claim?

I'm afraid I am not up to date with the system and all the current rules.

Bottom line is though - and what I would be asking - When are you going to get some money.

X🐥

Hi again Jan.

I just called the Fibro Benefits Helpline. It's

0300 999 0055

& it's not freephone, regular landline rate I think.

It's open 10am to 12 on Mon, Wed & Friday only.

I just called, there was a recorded message offering a call back.

I hope someone skilled from the CAB gets back to you as I think you need help with a fresh claim while you are trying to find out what went wrong with your last one. Did you go to the appeal alone?

🐥xx

ps

Don't worry about replying straight away if you're resting. Try get some peace and quiet.

Jan

I just got pm said 7 minutes ago, no notification, then if jumped to 6 hours ago! So don't know if you had my reply yet.

Wondered how things are going.

Are you on Levothyroxine then?

xx

I think, just for now, it might be best if you put your health first and try and get some sleep.

Then try the Fibro benefits helpline, see what help they can give you.

I agree Jan-bell I think as it is almost certainly not going to arrive until tomorrow or the next day, it might be best to get some rest and look after yourself to try to avoid the possible flare that may come due to the stress you've experienced.
