Good morning all, I have just read a post from Milynda about problems with her memory. I have the same issues remembering and understanding things. I want to ask a question please forgive me if it sounds silly. As fibro is recognised as a disability why are suffers not allowed to use their phones to record things such as meetings, or even hospital visits as a tool to help.

fibro is not recognised as a disability. However its effects on an individual can leave them disabled.
the laws on recording of conversations and their use and not tied to disability but if you have consent of the parties involved then you can record the conversation.
I am sure I read that you can, but you have to use their recording equipment, this is also a problem for me. here is some info on it

Hi there I think the member chante was referring to meetings in general such as in the work place not just with the DWP assessments. This is how i read it. I think it is well known by many now that you can record your PIP F2F assessment once all the criteria for doing so as been put in place

Thanks for replying, I really had thought it was recognised as a disability. Have a lovely day all.
