Have I got fibromyalgia

I ache all over especially in joints and it really hurts when I get up in the morning or after sitting down in a soft seat. Ankles and knees ache when walking. I am not overweight but am a recovering alcoholic of 9 months who h was when this first started I.e. 9 months ago.

What you describe could well be Fibromyalgia- but if I were you I would ask your GP to do a full blood works on you.

Including a B12 and Folate blood test.

The symptoms sound like FM.

You’ve mentioned you’re a recovering alcoholic...congratulations...continue on that journey with blessings that you’ll be successful. 😊😊

It is quite possible that you have had these symptoms while you were drinking and due to the sedation that causes you just weren’t aware of those sensations.

Have your doctor test you for FM /other things to confirm or rule out a diagnosis. Best wishes and take care dear.
