Has anyone else had this, and how did you cope with being semi quarantined? I feel really isolated.

I believe in America, you are kept in an isolation ward for a few days hahahaha

That's exactly what I thought, but is it? The radioactivity is harmful to others, but they don't tell you how much!

The dose given for Graves is much lower than a dose given for thyroid cancer, in that instance people are kept in isolation for a while. The advice when I had it was to avoid close contact, arms length, from anyone who is pregnant and young children, use separate utensils and flush toilet twice, that was it.

hi yes I had it back in 2013 quite lucky I stayed at my sisters house for 3wks as my son was only 16 and my late partner was ill. My sisters place is in a small village surrounded by open fields.... spent many happy hours in total peace and long walks it was like a holiday...I missed my family but it gave me time to think and spoil myself lol. Its what you make of it Dorimori 😊 xx
