I have applied for pip and got a no back, I have since asked them to reconsider my application. I currently work full time, but I am having periods of time off sick when I work too hard as I have bad flare ups. I think if I worked less hours I would be able to keep working and be healthier with less sick days, however I cannot afford this unless I get pip through as I have just bought my first home
Anyone have any tips on getting help with finance?
Or stories on how working less helped your symptoms?
Thank you x

Hia. I've had to give up work and pip didn't want to know. Didn't appeal but applied and went thru the process twice and turned down. It's not geared up for people with fibro. Some of the questions r just ridiculous..Like u would actually have to say u were to ill to be there before u ticked just one box and then that would work against u not to turn up. Really ridiculous
Not sure what areas u guys in but north Ayrshire council. For west coast of Scotland...heavens knows what u'd need to have hangin off. They're going round and reviewing all with disabilities that get benefits right not and at least 3 people I know and who I cared for and r wheelchair bound permanently with carers hoisting them into bed are being asked if they couldn't manage to work at a desk job or doing phones..no joke! It stressed me out so much that I gave up. Something failing far short in the system!
