burning rib pain
Yes mine is caused by costo chondritis. It fluctuates in severity Saturday it was absolutely crippling. It actually gets me down more than other pains for some reason. I find freeze gel is the best for me. Is this something new? If so I would have a word with your GP just in case there is another cause. Hope it eases for you soon as it is not pleasant.x
Yes I get severe chest and back pain also left ribs.
Sounds like Costo chondritis soooo painful it's horrible
It seems like many fibro sufferers do have bad rib and chest pain as others have said called Costochondritis But I would advise you paying a visit to your GP to get it checked out. There could be many other reasons you are getting that type of pain. Never think everything you suffer with is due to fibromyalgia it is not the case xx

This has already been said above

And I am just reiterating what as been said do you have a problem with that ? And if you do please PM thank you.

Sorry?
it could come across as if you are trying to moderate posts by dizzytwo and if you have an issue with someones posts then report them or pm the person about it. Please don't confront and try and contribute or add tp the thread rather than take the thread off topic.
Oh not at all I was just making the point that Dizzytwo basically just repeated what was said in the first post that's all. Not trying to moderate by any stretch I wouldn't know how to!
but your pulling someone up for what they have said which is potentially rude. to moderate is to try and alter another users behaviour which is normally what admins (or moderators) do to get users to conform to site rules.
Point taken but as I say wasn't my intention
as has been said this may be normal costo pain but you cannot be certain and contacting your GP, calling 111 or going to the A&E. any history of heart issues then it is straight to A&E.
as it is constant then talking to GP is probably the best option.
I agree could be costocondritis. Def see upur gp
Hi there, When I get an attack of it I have to rest and keep it as still as possible I will take OTC Ibuprofen and use ice packs on it. xx
