I am astonished by what I just read. Is there hope for me in central ca, usa. I've been suffering for 8 years. Was forcefully pushed, had spinal stenosis surgery & have chronic inflammation, nerve damage, and gait instability. Also-bipolar disorder. I live a mostly isolated life. Suicide is one of my ideations. I've been told it's all, "Me, me, me". I've sought help and here I sit, the same. No life, no understanding. Why???

I'm sorry Sarah, tough time! Not sure what you've just read, but assuming something to do with Fibromyalgia? Sometimes a battle to get a diagnosis. Lucky ticket and a Dr. with an open & informed mind will listen, look, learn, make a decision. A key word in there 'isolation'. Many of us can relate to that. I'm in the UK, just gone 3.30a.m. Feels like the whole world is asleep except me!
You really need to find a Dr. who is well informed on this condition. I dont know how to begin looking in USA. Maybe someone else will respond who will.
I wish you lkook. This is a good place to come and vent. Got to let it out somewhere! Dawn xx
Welcome to the forum and it is wonderful to make your acquaintance. I have pasted for you below a link to our mother site, FMA UK which hosts loads of useful Fibro information:
I am so genuinely sorry to read of your suffering and struggling and I have pasted you the contact details from the US Samaritans. Please do not be offended as I have done this out of friendship for a fellow suffer. I would urge you to contact them if you ever need anyone to talk too:
