will do janet .its only because they have a doctor there for the time being who does acupuncture and i just happened to pitch up otherwise its not normally on offer . but hey ill give anything a chance rather than stuffing drugs down my throat forever wrecking my internal organs and my brain . ... if it works ill pay for top up privately .
even if it gives some reduction in pain it will help .
I've just had the same conversation with my GP. He's referred me for physio too as well as acupuncture and hydrotherapy. I'm willing to try anything at this point! I did wonder whether a tens machine might be worth looking into, but I'm not sure if they work for Fibro and sciatica.
Acupuncture has ceertainly helped get that horrible unbearable edge off my pain. I do pay privately for mine though using part of my PIP as unfortunately the NHS acupuncture didn't seem to work for me although the nurse was extremely kind. My friend had marvellous relief though with an NHS practioner for her neck/back pain so fingers crossed you will be the same. NHS physio exercises certainly helped me with my mobility and the movement in my upper body. Let us know how you get on.x
That sounds wonderful my friend and I truly hope that they help you. I want to sincerely wish you all the best of luck and please take care of yourself my friend.
All my hopes and dreams for you
Ken
