Electric shocks.: Hi there fellow... - Fibromyalgia Acti...
Electric shocks.
Hi Chance15
I am so genuinely sorry to read that you are experiencing this my friend, and I have something similar to this. I was diagnosed with Peripheral neuropathy. I have pasted you a link to the NHS Choices cache below:

I would talk to your doctor about what is happening for you just to have other medical conditions ruled out of the equation. I want to sincerely wish you all the best of luck and please take care of yourself my friend.
All my hopes and dreams for you
Ken
Thanks for the link Ken. I have had pins and needles in my fingers for a month. Gp didn't seem interested a few weeks ago and said "its just fibromyalgia". Then to add to the pins and needles this week I have been getting electric shocks which seem worse in my left hand and go up to my elbow. Made me make an appointment to GP again. Hugs Joolz.x
Cheers mate for that nice message and link I'll check it out now.i hope ur as well as can be ken and keep popping the pills as we do.😂
Hi I get them sometimes down the backs of my legs . Only last a second . I'm going to ask pain doc next month about it .
Yep, I get that feeling mainly in my hands but sometimes feet. I've just started on Tramadol and (mistakenly) thought it would be my miracle pain relief.....
Buma, electric shocks can be down to low or deficient vitamin B12 blood levels.
Hi coastwalker thanks for your reply,my 1st blood vitamin b12 was below range then doc done 2nd lot b12 was just in the range serum folate was 1.9 under range 2nd lot serum folate still under range at 2.1 brackets 2.8 to 4 somthink any way doc as put me on 5mg folate for 3months then test me again.
If you are still feeling these shocks put out a posting on here (Health Unlocked) on the pernicious anemia site 'PAS', PAS is also for B12 Deficiency patients. I would be concerned if I had borderline B12, and even more so if still the shocks.
Forgot to mention supplementing folic acid or folate can make your B12 blood tests look normal. (if you need another B12 test)
