Hello Dee-ivy06 and a warm welcome to our friendly fibro forum where you can get, advice, understanding and support, along with a chuckle or two to brighten the day.

Have you seen our Mother Site fmauk.org ? Here you will find a wealth of information including guides and links.

I am sorry you are really struggling with work, perhaps it may be time to have a good look at what you can and cannot do. It may mean reducing your hours or changing the type of work you do.

I suggest you see your doctor as your medication may need looking at, especially if you feel you are not getting much relief. There are medications which some fibromites, (that's all of us) find very useful, including Pregabelin, Gabapentin and amitriptyline. Unfortunately pain relief can sometimes be elusive as some medications can work differently for different people. It does tend to be trial and error unfortunately.

I advise you lock your post for your internet security as this post can be seen throughout the internet. Replies to an unlocked post are also unlocked and this can mean members will not respond.

Simple instructions can be found in Pinned Posts to the right, where you will also find tips to navigate and make your way around the forum.

If you need any help to lock, please ask any Admin.

Hoping to see you around the forum

Kay

Hi Dee-ivy06 welcome to our wonderful forum ☺ I'm sure you will come to find the forum invaluable in chatting to others who are going through the same experience as you, talking to others at different stages of their lives with Fibro and learning from their experiences.

It does help with the whole process and I wish I had found the site years ago. I have had Fibro for nearly 30 yrs and I'm still learning about it, like we all are.

I'm sorry you are struggling with work, unless people have suffered what you are suffering they can't seem to understand, it is also something that isn't visible so if they try to understand, they forget. At least you have a lovely partner to help you, that's worth its weight in gold.

Anyway my friend, just wanted to say Hi & look forward to chatting with you on the forum.

Peace, luv n light
