The pain we feel everyday.

I have a question for everyone. Has anyone read the book Medical Medium: Secrets Behind Chronic mystery Illness and How to Finally Heal ? My mom just sent it to me on Facebook and the review of the book paints a picture of every symptom and diagnosis that has been said to all of us. Check it out and please respond if you have read it and followed his protocol. I am thinking of getting the book and trying it.

I have never read the book. But over the last 30 years I have ready many many books that write about the same thing. Imo there is nothing new under the sun. As there is nothing new out there to help people with fibro it always amazes me how so many people continue making money out of these self help and heal books and target the most vulnerable.

I wouldn't put anyone off reading or trying anything they think may help them I just find it sad how people make money out of others suffering by writing about what most of us already know and getting money out of those who don't and continue to look for the miracle cure!! Good luck with the book and I truly hope it may help you.

Thank you for replying. I do understand how you feel about this book and all the other books out there. Those are my exact thoughts and feelings. It seems we get bounced from here and there. I think it is the hope that there will be an answer somewhere. I really appreciate your prospective view.

Hi Aap78

I have read a review of this book but that is all. It is a self-help. self-healing book that looks at natural energies. I cannot judge whether or not it is worth the money? I want to sincerely wish you all the best of luck if you decide to purchase the book, and please take care of yourself my friend.

All my hopes and dreams for you

Hi...I have just googled the book and it certainly has some amazing reviews....although from what I gather he could have written a diet sheet + supplement list...That sounded very cynical I didn't mean it to I am just so cautious about all the self heal books having read so many and tried many over the years with no success. I certainly would not put off anyone reading it for it may be just the thing for them....x

Eckhart Tolle states the "pain body is an addiction to negative energy". There is no doubt that so many of us have been subjected to a lot of negative situations. In this world it is not easy to free yourself but I am working on my own reactions and attachments, it certainly makes a difference when you find the courage to avoid getting hooked into unhealthy energies, of course when we are children we do not have those choices and damage to our health occurs. Like others I have read dozens of books but Eckhart's one line sentence resonates as a significant truth. They do say that when you are ready the right Teacher comes along so maybe our proliferate readings are necessary until our light comes on.

Hi

I think I am a bit sceptical about the number of books for self help, particularly as they seem so expensive.

Perhaps have a look in the local library and see what is about there.
