I did when I managed to overturn my DLA result. Several have had some luck with PIP but others who perhaps disputed that they should have had a higher rate than they were given have actually had it lowered so many people are worried about disputing it. I could see where I should have scored some points and I think I would have won them back at tribunal but there were also a couple of areas where I got a few points and hadn't expected to get any. I thought about it but because I had to help my husband and go to two tribunals with him and the stressful 2 years we had we decided to leave well alone. If you have 0 points I honestly think you had nothing to lose. Fingers crossed for you and let us know how you get on.x
Hi Reuby Welcome to our wonderful forum. You do not say if you have fibromyalgia ? You will need some help from C.A.B or a Benefits Advisor.
The Benfits and Work site is very helpful and can be found on Google. They do charge a small yearly fee though. Your best route would be to contact your local citizens advice Buruex.
Hope this helps

Hi Reuby
Welcome to the forum and it is wonderful to make your acquaintance. I really am so truly sorry to read this my friend, and as Janet28 says it may help getting some advice from the CAB. I want to sincerely wish you all the best of luck with your mandatory reconsideration and please take care of yourself.
All my hopes and dreams for you
Ken
Hi there, im so sorry you have been put through this, i failed my DLA, failed reconsideration, failed appeal and then after nearly 18 months i was awarded enganced rate for both at tribunal. Its a rotten system but please dont give up. Blessings.
I was awarded PIP at tribunal for my first award but my second award was made after assessment and went in my favour.
There is a wonderful charity called Fightback who are excellent and they are FREE. If you have Facebook search Fightback or google Fight Back 4 Justice.
Good luck x
Hi i feel for you as im under the Autistic umbrella having Asperger's can cause all sorts of issues many i never realised was from that why i guess im deemed a vulnerable adult!
Since i had what the stroke association sounds more a stroke than a tia after they put me on T as have a pituitary tumour it made it all worse have memory issues get confused easily on things newer to me and forget them quickly and get irritated quickly with things but also changed me as a person to friends.
So Autism isn't an easy one to deal with so many facets to it but there is the Autism society @ Islington N! they have some help there
