What is the nature of this FM beast? Yesterday i had an almost 100% pain free day, no muscle pain, no fatigue, no brain fog.... thought it was Christmas. Did nothing unusual at all through the day. Then today from hips down every fibre in my legs is cramping and burning πŸ˜” It's so cruel!!! That's the thing i like about my job - it's so brain taxing it almost completely distracts me from the pain for a bit. Here's Eveline - a little ray of sunshine from my garden this morning 😁 Gentle hugs everybody

Hi Leemaree44 I can't agree more. You can never tell what tomorrow will bring that's why we go mad on good days. Hope you will get some relief. Take care xx

Oh thats gorgeous my friend, very pretty colours. My dad used to grow dalias and show them many years ago. Our garden always had the flowers covered with plastic covers, so we only got to see them when the shows were on lol they were beautiful though.

Sorry your in so much pain, I get this all the time, its so horrible, so i know how that feels.

Hope you have some relief soon. BlueMermaid3 was telling me the other day about which I am going to get some because she said its really good & helps, I have forgot what its called but Lu will see this at some time later today & let you know what the name of it is.

Luv Jan xx

LOVE the dahlia. I grew some a couple years back and fell in love with them. Anyways

Yes, fibro is a wicked *********. I don't know if there is much rhyme or reason to some of the things that happens to us. I always try to find links. Like- oh yes I ate a lot of sugar the day before or I was stressed out or something, anything I find to make it make sense.

I'm sorry you're in pain again. But hey that day off, I bet that was awesome.

:) I hope you get another day off soon.

Take careΓ—Γ—Γ—Γ—Γ—

That one day off, as much of a blessing as it is, somehow makes the next day of pain more depressing πŸ˜• But i do love those days when they happen ❀️😁

Lovely flower, so lucky you still have them blooming.

There seems to be no consistency with fibro. When you have a good day or perhaps a rare full nights sleep you want to replicate everything you did the day before, but it never seems to work again.

Hope tomorrow is a better day for you.

X

Well isn't Eveline a beauty, such a delicate colour. Isn't it lovely when the odd pain-free day pops into your life, trouble is there is always a ruddy payback. I think the cramping and burning sensation are the two of the things that bug me the most - it just doesn't make sense not to be able to stand longer than five minutes. It makes trying to make a meal for loved ones virtually impossible. I have a perching stool in the kitchen, supplied by (oh crumbs I cannot recall the name - but it was definitely NHS funded (then)). anyhow, this stool is tilted slightly so you kind of lean against it. I dare not try sitting on it as I would slip off and land on my btm on the floor, but it is useful if I am feeling really determined to cook a meal. Like you I like to keep the old grey matter well and truly active and earning its keep, that way pain is reduced - give the thing too much to think about then it cannot concentrate on pain. Happy Christmas and stonking great New Year. xxx Doreen

i love your Dahlia , what a beautiful colour. Fibromyalgia is a cruel disease. One minute your up then you come crashing down.

it also changes with the weather. When its warm and sunny i am fine ,whrn it is damp, cold and wet i suffer terribly.
