Hi Barney98
I sincerely hope that you are feeling as well as you possibly can be today? Welcoem to the forum and I have pasted you a link to our mother site, FMA UK which hosts loads of useful Fibro information:
nhs.uk/conditions/hyperhidr...
I have noticed that many Fibro sufferers also have 'Hyperhidrosis' (myself included), and so I have pasted you a link and an excerpt to the NHS Choices cache on this below:
How hyperhidrosis is treated
Excessive sweating can be challenging to treat and it may take a while to find a treatment right for you.
Doctors usually recommend starting with the least invasive treatment first, such as powerful antiperspirants. Lifestyle changes may also help, including:
wearing loose and light clothes
avoiding triggers, such as alcohol and spicy foods, that could make your sweating worse
wearing black or white clothes to help minimise the signs of sweating
If this doesn’t help, you may be advised to try treatments such as iontophoresis (the affected area is treated with a weak electric current passed through water or a wet pad), botulinum toxin injections, and even surgery in a few cases.
Hyperhidrosis is usually a long-term condition, but some people experience an improvement with time and the treatments available can often keep the problem under control.

I want to genuinely wish you all the best of luck, and please take care of yourself.
All my hopes and dreams for you

Hi there, i went to your posts to see if you had previously listed your meds, sounds like your having reactions to one or more, have you recently changed or increased dosage? did the symptoms start then?, have a look on the net and see if your symptoms are recognised side effects of any of your meds, if you find that difficult or dont know where to look message me with your meds + doseage + when you take them and i will look them up for you on a drugs index and send a copy to you. Obviously i cant advise you but i can at lsast help you to get some more information so you can decide what to do. Refards, Leon.
Hi, I dont have much advice but just to say you sound just like me. I have very low energy leveld, and I cant stop sweating. All I do like the author said is to wear light clothes. I have lived in shorts and cotton short sleeve shirts. Now the weather is getting cooler it will help.
Take care.
Hi
I don't use any medication to stop the sweating but when I get out of the shower I sit on the bed with a fan on me until I cool down, sometimes getting dressed sets it off again so I also have a fan in the living room. When my itching is too bad I take a one a day allergy tablet, something like Clarytin.

You could try sage for the sweating, it helps with menopausal sweats, so might help. You need a high dose. I use Beeprotx for itchy skin but it is quite expensive. May have spelt that wrong but Google and see what comes up! Antihistamine tablets could also help.

For the sweating I use Agnus Castus,it's a berry, also someone recomended, the progesterone cream from wellsprings,I haven't used that, but what ever you look at research it first, there is quite a good write up on Agnus Castus, so plenty to read, aparentley you have to check the strength because some on the are not very strong,I buy Natures aid, 1000mg. HOWEVER,we are all different, best of luck.I also buy my antihistamines from the. £1 shop they do 14 Loratadine, by Bells Healthcare, if you buy them in the chemist they will cost you about three times more, these ones are non drowsy,I have the zirtec from the doctor, also excellent for itching,( it's a side affect I get with methatrexate) but as I say check everything out what suits one dosent always suit another, best of luck.
We all have good days and bad days and on my good days (which are few and far between) I have more energy. I also think positively and that helps with energy levels as well. My itches are only relieved by a microfibre mop. A little triangle shaped duster with an extending handle. £1.99 from B&B. It doesn't stop it, just relieves it a bit, but its the only thing that does. It might help you to dampen the fibres a bit.
Not sure if you're into homeopathy but Calc Carb 6c and Sulphur 30c may help the sweating.
Sadly I can't send any to you (though I'd like to) but have cured people with Hyperhydrosis which is excessive sweating, with these remedies. Generally, 1 three times a day of each for one week, then one of each per day. Look up how to take them. Touching the remedy with your hands decreases the potency so tip onto a spoon, drop under your tongue and allow to dissolve. They're not unpleasant. They're also inexpensive so worth a try.
I hope it helps you.

Its a fibro thing iam afraid. I suffer badly with energy and sweating and always clammy, but only my face and head that sweat. I was given propantheline tablets off the doctor for sweating. I take one, 3 times aday. They do work but dont cure it, if you forget to take them ( which i do) ya back to square one. Hope this helps. Fibro has a lot to answer for xx
Try Epsom salt baths for longer than 15 minutes. sip warm camomile tea. Go online and look for "talk down meditations". Your symptoms indicate more than just Fibro, but also Fibro under very high stress. Be kind to yourself! You are trapped in a situation, so don't feel guilty about indulging yourself with some peaceful techniques. Your body & mind are screaming for them! Just slow everything down until you find balance. Yes, Fibro feels like your sick everyday, but please find those few breaks. Sometimes a cold nutritious piece of fruit on an empty stomache is sort of uplifting! Wishing you well 🔮🌈💐😽
