Now the school holidays are nearly at a close in my part of UK I have noticed an interesting sight.

No not more children in the shops being kitted out for new term.

No not the empty roads around here between 8-9.30 & 2.45/4.00 on week days.

The real thing is the number of hospital appointment envelopes come floating through my door.

September ,October and early November are going to be very busy.

The library books will get read faster as hanging about in clinics I just have my head in a book.

Incidentally I had 2 hospital clinics postponed this month. I cynically debated if the staff were to stretched as it was holiday season?

You would think it would be balanced out by people who were given an appt cancelling as they were going on holiday wouldn't you. Yes I have found my Kobo very useful whilst waiting around for hospital appts we have to do something don't we to while away the hours.x

It could be a case of staff having children and reducing their hours accordingly with the school holidays? Either way I cannot see it benefiting patients?

Good luck with all of your appointments my friend.

All my hopes and dreams for you
