Hi, I've joined this forum today and feel hopeful that chatting to others with fibromyalgia and have the same problems will help me cope, as to be honest my family and friends have NO IDEA what I feel like as I look so well. I also have heart and lung problems which doesn't help....... but heyho that's life......................... Mind you I still have to listen to others' health problems - but if I make a comment about mine - I can expect them to ignore what I'm saying.........and they do. Look forward to chatting......., take care of yourselves.
HELLO FELLOW FIBRO'S I'M NEW TO THIS ... - Fibromyalgia Acti...
HELLO FELLOW FIBRO'S I'M NEW TO THIS SITE BUT HAVE HAD FMS FOR MANY YEARS and looking forward to chatting (and moaning)...........
Welcome. I'm so sorry that the people around don't even attempt to try to be there for you. I really don't understand that because you have more than fibro, heart and lungs are very important, .... I don't understand why someone would ignore someone they "care" about when they are telling you their real problems; pain and health issues.
I don't understand people. I try but I can't. I'm sorry you have to deal with them.
Anyway, we are here for you. You are welcome to rant and moan til your heart's content.
Hi fibrojan
Welcome to the forum I can honestly say that you will not look back after joining us.
Even though you are not newly diagnosed you may still like to have a look at our mother site fmauk.org
I personally have had Fibro for over 30 years along with other chronic conditions. It does seem that Fibro doesn't like to come alone.
I am sorry to hear that you also have heart and lung problems.

Fibrojan, Hi and welcome !! I think you have found the right place as you can talk about your illness and we will not ignore you!! Hope you enjoy the site.Peck🐤y
I would just like to say welcome to the forum. I sometimes think family and friends get so wrapped up in their own problems they fail to hear our voice when we try to say we are also unwell especially if we have always been a listening ear for their troubles. At least on here you will be talking o people who understand. Look forward to your future posts.x
Hi fibrojan
I sincerely hope that you are feeling as well as you possibly can be today? Welcome to the forum and it is wonderful to make your acquaintance.
I am so genuinely sorry to read of your health problems and I also have heart and lungs issues of my own as well. I am so genuinely sorry that the people closest to you do not understand what you are going through and I want to sincerely wish you all the best of luck and please take care of yourself.
All my hopes and dreams for you
Ken
Hi and Welcome......I wonder if you have ever shown your friends a list of Fibro symptoms and what it feels like...if they read about it they may surely understand more. Maybe you can print off from this site? If not you rant away!!!! We listen and understand each others frustrations and pain.....

Hello and welcome. Sadly your story is not rare. I trust you will find what you need here, a bit of info, virtual hugs when you need them and a bit of distraction
Hi fibrojan welcome to the forum ☺ I'm sure you will love it as much as we all do & you can moan as much as you like, there''s always someone around to understand and listen. I spent yrs with ppl..that didn't listen & half the time you don't get time to talk because you are so busy listening.
Unless you actually have Fibro I think it's very hard to understand it because it is so complex. I found printing some info off the internet helped & give it to them as bedtime reading, they may think a bit differently then.
It's hard gal, I'm not going to tell you its easy but you do have to try to make them understand because you need their support to keep you in as good as health as you can be.
With heart and lung problems aswel this is even more so important.
Peace, luv n light
