It's so nice to have the energy and be able to stand to cook food at home. Yesterday was the opposite day.

Looks delicious. Afraid it was tinned beef curry and rice tonight as in too pain to cook but tomorrow is another day. Used to live cooking and cooked everything from scratch it is something I miss doing in a regular basis.x

I can usually manage it, if i make a start after breakfast.

I managed pasta bolonaise tonight, with Alans help :)

I made chicken wrap. With grilled chips. Been fasting all day and I've been swimming today. It felt so good. When I got back I cooked even though in was fasting. I'm making most out of my good chirpy day 😊

I marinated chicken with fajitas powder by adding some oil. Then cut peppers and onions and added it to the pan. All done. Didn't take long.

I always make double if I feel up to cooking so another nights meal for the three of us in the freezer. I used to adore cooking, making cakes and baking bread. Now a lot of stand by microwave crap.

Not only am I too sore or tired to cook, like many things I have lost intrest in things that I used to love to do, follow etc Has anyone else experienced this? Is it a passing phase?

Hi patrick, It's a passing phase hopefully. I was the same. From making fresh meals to packet pasta and boil raveoli and add already cooked sauce. All done under 10 min. When you feeling better the interest will come back. It's due to low moods and not motivated that is making you feel like this. Try to keep active and I know it sounds impossible because it did for me. But I had to push myself through the pain and get moving when I dropped then I rested then got back up. Take each day as it comes and make most of the good days you have and have hope and good will is all we have got. Keep going and not to give up. You can do it Patrick. Hope this helps

Thanks for your support I really appreciate it. I've seem to have been in constant flare and bedridden for most of the past two months mainly around stress, which is hopefully resolved. I've just got to kick my arse and get going. I do feel more hopeful now and have learnt to do things in stages rather than all at once. The real me is still in there and wants to live not just exsist!

Hartleyhare2 , I'm like you as I use to really enjoy cooking... the more the merrier. Now I don't even like cooking for me and my OH. Take care. Peck.🐤

Hi Peck, it's a real shame when something you love becomes a chore. Home cooked food is just so much tastier. Fortunately my fourteen year old son likes cooking with me so I need a bit of a declutter in the kitchen and he can do the hard work and I will be chief taster! Lol

Hope you have a low pain day.
