So sorry to hear about Millie. We have had dogs all our lives and at the moment we have 5 cats and 3 dogs, all of whom are getting old. It's heartbreaking....but in time you may well rehome another wee dog who needs the same sort of love you gave Millie. There IS a doggy-heaven - that's where Im going to go!
