It will more than likely be your body getting rid of toxins. Keep an eye on it and if you're worried get medical advice. Especially if it starts burning 🐸

Probably your body is not used to you drinking the extra water and your diet foods might have more moisture in them if you are eating more fruit and salad and less stodge that tends mop up fluids. As long as you are feeling OK otherwise and as Sorebones says if it is burning could mean an infection but if your pee is light co!oured and does not smell or sting you should be fine. Food luck with it. X

When you start any diet for the first few weeks you lose alot of water weight it should calm down after a couple of weeks then you will start to lose fat but if you start to get pain around your kidney area or a burning sensation when you pee see your gp asap as that could be the sign of water infection or kidney infection but this is just my opinion based on my experience as I'm not a doctor but if you're worried see your gp or ri g NHS direct for advice good luck 🍀 with weight loss 😊

Firstly, well done and congratulations, you should be thoroughly proud of yourself!

I think that the other respondents have hit it on the head as you do lose a lot of water based weight at the start of a diet. However, if it persists for too long and you start to get dehydration headaches or your water turns a little smelly which could indicate an infection it would be advisable to visit your GP and discuss it with them.

I want to genuinely and sincerely wish you all the best of luck with your diet.

All my hopes and dreams for you

I have watched quite a few of these diet shows on the telly and it does appear that wee pee more to start with and then after that we start to lose the weight. However, we then plateau and the weight loss slows down. I can relate to passing more water at them moment as I have just started on Diuretics, so I am always staying in arms length of a loo!

I genuinely hope that you are not in pain tonight, please take car eof yourself.

All my hopes and dreams for you

What kind of diet are you following ? If its making you pee then all you are losing is water not fat. I hope you are drinking loads to compensate because dehydration is not good news

If you've swapped fizzy drinks for water it's usually you loosing water weight/ flushing out all the bad things. It should settle down once your body's adjusted to the changes you are making... Good luck with the diet! :) x
