I suffer with this occasionally, in fact today there is an area on my right hand which is painful, unfortunately exactly where I rest my hand to operate the computer mouse which has made my day at work a bit uncomfortable. Sometimes my arm hurts where my sleeve touches it which is very uncomfortable so you are not alone, just another one of those delightful fibro things.

Permanently like that to some degree or other. It tends to vary between itchy and sensitive to feels like road rash. It can be uncomfortable wearing clothes and any pressure can sometimes feel like it's bruised. Not much fun is it.

Yup- not every day now as earlier this year but often enough- burning- sometimes hot and sometimes burning cold

Hi gothbird

Yep that's me everyday some days worse than others, this may sound crazy as touching hurts but when I feel it starting to flare up I gently rub some oil I made up into my skin the oil is a mixture of 6-8 drops of peppermint oil with 5-6 of lavender oil in a base of baby oil and it does help to sooth the pain, it also helps with my joint pain especially the rheumatoid arthritis in my hands
