Shepard cancer and we had to have her put to sleep broke my heart. So sudden but we miss her daily

It is so sad when you lose any animal that you are close to as there is always a special bond as they don't care who or what we are they just love us unconditionally and you never get that special love from anywhere else. I always think it is such a pity that they don't live as long as us. Eventually the deep sadness will hopefully fade and you will just have the happy memories. We often speak about our dogs, long gone but never forgotten and still laugh at their funny habits. Gorgeous picture by the way you must treasure that one.x

She is adorable!!! I am a dog/animal lover..... and know all too well about needing to say good bye to our animal family members. We had our Abby for 14 years..... we gave her to our son on his 10th bday..... we nursed her for months before she went..... still miss her... 4yrs later. same with so many other pets that we've had over the years.... You are not alone in your sadnesss

Really feel for you. We lost our Charlie dog suddenly last Oct and we miss him so much all the time. Lulu looks like a real sweetheart and I am sure you will think of her everyday and smile thinking of her and cry missing her but you will always have your lovely memories of her. Gentle hugs Joolz.x

so sorry to hear of your loss. I too know how hard it is to loose a canine companion. your pain is raw but in time it will ease. you will be able to recall all the fun times you spent together. she will be waiting for you on rainbow bridge, no longer in pain and full of beans once again.

Don't think any pet that has a connection with us human species ever die. Just because their bodies like ours, get worn out, I believe their precious souls stay close by our hearts, and when we decide to leave planet Earth, we are united with our beloved pets, and can travel free from pain and gravity wherever we want to go. But in the meantime, close your eyes and imagine your little Lulu is just around a corner, or laying by your feet, or that you are stroking her soft fur, and she will be there, just for a little while, and then travel together into your dreams. Blessings and eternal Lulu cuddles and love.
