Is it normal to feel great and have a burst of energy for the day and feel totally drained and achy the next day and back to square one?

Is it normal...? Yes, sorry it is. The temptation to get so much done when you get that burst is just too irresistible at times, and then, yes, you pay for it later. I am halfway thru' cleaning the cupboard under my kitchen sink. Used a window cleaning pole to get to the back corners to clean them - think there is a leak - just had to sit down, can't even stad up now! I've done five loads of washing over the past two days and finished a load of washing up leftover from Sunday lunch. Now I'm left with a kitchen floor full of cleaning/washing/polishing stuff, the cupboard doors wide open, an old rag under a pipe to see if that's where the water is coming from and I can't move, I can't finish the job no matter how I try - I'm just in too much pain and tired to move! :-( :-( :-( Gentle hugs, Julie xxx

I know exactly what you mean. I tend to get this burst of energy first thing and then it is all down hill from there for me. I am so sorry to read that you have this too.

All my hopes and dreams for you

I'm afraid so, foolishly on a good day I tend to try and pack everything in and do to much. sadly my good days seem to be going further and further apart. x

I'm afraid we're all guilty of doing too much on a good day. My husband watches very closely if I'm tempted to do any gardening. I always used to spend hours out there, but now an hour at a time is enough. Anymore and I'm useless the next couple of days. We have to learn by trial and error what we can manage. I'm always thankful for a good day though. MariLiz

They use to call it over activity under activity. Yea, yea yea. I would start the day doing it what ever it is I was doing, and as I started doing the pain would become so intense. There were days I really thought I was going to die. The pain was so overwhelming. I could not think straight, I actually became delirious with the pain. What I was prescribed back then did nothing for me.
