What do you do if you keep repeating your symptoms to your doctor( and you think it could be fibro )with no answer .
This is thquestion katy198 has asked. I too have this same question as I have been fobed off to go through choose and book system. I had specifically asked to see a Rheumotologist at my local hospital but instead my GP has put me through choose and book. When I rung up the number I was told I will probably have to see another GP who specialises in Fibro. I do not want to see another GP I want to see a Rheumotologist. How can I acheive this what should I do now please?

I am so sorry to read this, and I would come out and ask if I had Fibro if I was in your position? If I did not get an answer from the doctor I would repeat my question and add that I was asking a question and would like an answer please?
I want to wish you all the best of luck with getting the answers that you so desperately desire and deserve.
I think you should go to a new doctor if you have the choice, before you get anymore upset. It might worsen your symptoms to worry. A GP who has a lot of knowledge may help you or agree you need to go to a Rheumatologist.
I know what you mean. I have to keep bugging my doctor and am on my 3rd visit to the pain management doctor. I will push for a Rheumatologist if I don't get what I think I need.
My doctor has referred me to a Rheumo but I have been waiting over two months and told it could be up to 17 weeks for an appointment. I know I have Fibro, but I have no choice but to wait.
