Don't know how to feel
Yes this is, I got my diagnosis 4 weeks ago, and because i haven't received my letter back from the hospital my docs wont treat me. I think because of this i'm still going through the sad/angry phase. Am really frustrated as want to do things but simply don't have the energy or am ill when i do x
I am so sorry to read that you have Fibro but I am happy that you have at last got a diagnosis. I felt pretty much the same when I was diagnosed, I didn't really know what to make of it?
I want to genuinely wish you all the best of luck

Hi madmel
I'm sorry that you've been told you have Fibromyalgia but very pleased that you have got a diagnosis. I think when we get the diagnosis we feel relief for getting it but to be diagnosed with something that is deemed invisible is quite sad so depression can occur.
I personally think it is normal to go through a period of mixed feelings after receiving any diagnosis but if you find your moods getting worse or really low then a trip to speak to your GP about how everything is making you feel may be worthwhile.
Many of us here receive treatment for depression and anxiety and there are many treatments and therapies to help us to learn how to live with it and control it.
Remember you're not alone here and if we can help to support and advise you then we will try even if it's just to offer you hugs for support.
Healing Fluffies and smiles of support for you
