HELP how to tell my parent

hi, I'm finding it really hard on how to tell my parents that I'm no longer a virgin and that I have had sex? I don't exactly no how to approach my mum and dad about it because they are really protective over me. any ideas or help will be much appreciated.

Why do they need to know? Isn't that part of growing yp that there are some things that are just not their business? xox
