I had my PIP tribunal recently. I had some from our local welfare rights centre representing me. On the day my representative wasn't asked any questions but I was asked a lot and I had to explain things in a lot of detail. It was quite hard going although the people were really nice. There were some questions that were obviously designed to see if what I had put was the truth but I went from 7 points for care and 4 points for mobility to 11 points for each so it was worth all the stress in the end. I also got my award for 3 years which was a bonus. Whatever you decide, good luck. Linda

I will see if wigan has got a welfare rights centre, I have phoned 2 solicitors and the cab. They have all said the same thing, that because of government funding being cut, they haven't got the resources and you cant get legal aid for it anymore
