Support group local

Hi is there anyone one on here from west Dunbartonshire ? Scotland I live here and was just wondering if there were any support groups for fibro around this area I could go to.

And sorry to sound dumb but what is PIP.

Hi Granniescrochet, love your name. There is a fibro support group in Paisley, i have not been to it because there is also one in Glasgow where i live. If you google it you should find the address, or check on this site. Pip is personal independance payment, which has replaced dla, the old disability living allowance. It is a non means tested benefit for people with long term illnesses snd disabilities. Hope this helps

Thanks for all the links I find them a great help. I have also had my confirmation from my doctor he telephoned me yesterday, he has given me Gabapentine

and I have to go back and see him in a months time
