Hi Ruth_lderry

I sincerely hope that you are feeling well today? And a big friendly welcome to the forum! I was wondering what medications you have been prescribed? I was also wondering if your GP has given you any referrals to either Rheumatology, Physiotherapy or A Pain Management Clinic? These departments are a great start when trying to find your feet with Fibro?

I have pasted you a link below to our mother site, FibroAction, it has loads of useful Fibro information on the site:

fibroaction.org

I genuinely want to wish you all the best of luck with your Fibro, and I hope that your pain isn't too severe.

All my hopes and dreams for you

I just finished reading a post reelvant to finding a good doctor; and of course this forum has so much wisdom for us.Here's the post. healthunlocked.com/fibroact...

Looking for a doctor and finding one who really understands fibromyalgia may take some time but it makes sense that it is so worth it. I'm still looking, btw. This is a journey and often there is nothing we can do about the symptoms except get through them. We do have lots of options you'll find that help alleviate the pain and exhaustion. Read all you can!
