off to gp and hope that she will refer me to someone who knows what they are talking about. the painin on the increase and the areas effected are growing. i now have chronic pain in both wrists and knees. the worst pain is in my neck and shoulders. so please wish me luck. dont know what to do if she says no.

Hope all goes well. They seem to want to send us to Pain Clinics rather than a Rheumy or an Ortho specialist. I can't get an appt for 2 weeks to discuss some medication that the Pain Clinic wants to put me on so hope you haven;t had to wait that long to talk to anyone. Let us know how you get on.x

hi there

went to gp this afternoon and everything went ok she is refering me to rheumatologie. she asked what made me think i had fibro and i told her that i had googled my symptoms and she was not best pleased. i told her that i did not think i had fibro but that i just wanted answers as to why i had so much pain iin many different places and that all the MRI scans i have had show nothing structural wrong with my spine hips pelvise so there has to be something wlse going on. she said that she understood and that she may be apt to go down this route as she has a feeling that this may be the problem. this is due to the fact that ihad blood tests 8 weeks ago and everything regarding rheumatology came back fine.

so all i have to do is wait for appointment she said it would be about 2 to 3 weeks before i hear anything regarding appointment. does not help as i have my ESA assessment next week guess i will have to say that i am awaiting appointment. will let you know in time what happens.

That sounds quite constructive to me! At least another avenue will be explored and they can only say it is or it isn't? Either way, at least something will get done about it?

thanks for your reply, i am in a lot of pain to day, my left wrist is so sore i am in tears with the pain. just want some answers now. pain relief is not helping at the moment. can take Tramadol but they make me so tired and putting that on top of how tired i am anyway i would not be able to function.

wanted to start decorating my bedroom to day but it will have to wait. will ask daughter and her hubby to come over and do it.

Try a pain clinic, I like you had such pain in my neck and shoulders I couldn't lay my head down on my pillow. There is help out there sweetheart. Praying you get some relief!!!! xxxx Mitzi
