Does anyone feel like there muscles are tightening and muscle twitching

I sincerely hope that you are feeling as well as you possibly can be today? I am so sorry to read that you are having problems with muscles tightening and twitching.

I have read posts from other members who say their Fibro has given them tremors and twitching. I was wondering what medication you were taking? As many of the medications for Fibro list tremors etc as a possible side effect?

I do have periods of muscle tightening and twitching which can be quite disconcerting as it is difficult / impossible to have any control over it

The trouble is I also have health anxiety so every time I go to some doctors they always think it is linked

constantly unfortunately. And I have had one doctor link it to anxiety but four or five others said it is quite common with FMS

My muscles all feel like they are all tightened up in knots right now. Couldn't get them any tighter if I tried! Makes my flabby thighs feel a lot firmer than they really are! I do get some weird, I think, muscular twitching, particularly around my back. Before I got diagnosed it used to bother me but not now. Just another jolly fibro symptom (at least I think it is).

As to health anxiety, is there anyone with FM who doesn't have 'health anxiety'?
