After being on treatment for it & ??? Around possible diagnosis since April last year, but at my follow up appt I've just had to see if my treatment is at the right dosage etc, the Dr then said to me that he thinks I have polymyalgia aswell?! Well firstly what the b***** hell is that & secondly has this happened to anyone else?

What bad luck Polymyaligia briefly means many (poly) aches and pains in your muscles generally in neck arms back and hips.

So as a person with Fibro it just means a bit more of the same!

Take it slowly and gently and hopefully it will not be to nasty for you

I have a couple of friends with poly. Unlike fibromyalgia, it usually burns out in a couple of years. From what I gather, this is a condition which is treated mainly with steroids. I hope this helps a little. Let's us know how you are. X
