I won't keep you in suspenders. Get a cup of tea . . .

When my daughter was young some of her friends called me big fat badger because of a coat I wore. The name stuck. Now I'm a volunteer warden on a local nature reserve, biggest area of fenland outside Cambrigdeshire. Fenbadger is a contradiction in terms as you don't dig a home in waterlogged ground. Well actually we did have a sett on a small mound in the middle where it had no right to be. The contradiction in terms tickles my laughing bone and vaguely epitomises my character so I've adopted it in several avatars. :P :P :P

I answer to quite a lot of things.

So I suppose the answer to your questions is yes to both :P :P

Can't understand why that brilliant photo wasn't more widespread. It could only happen on one day in a very small timeframe, and looks like it was taken from a bridge upstream, I'm guessing London Bridge.

Hi fen badger, I hope my oh can get the foto onto Facebook. I used to warden for SWT and do voluntary work at Lackford lakes, as well as the military orchid site, which has now been acquired by FC. Good to know the landscape is being cared for (compassionate face). hugs to you. Xxxx

Hehehehe. What a Lark :P

There's one over the border in Wiltshire called Langford Lakes where I saw my first pair of crested grebes. Give it time, I'll work these names into something. . :D

Hugs back
