I've heard of people complaining of pain under the foot, however my problem is pain on top of my feet. Has anyone else suffered with this.

Hi there.

Yes I suffer really badly with pain in the top of my feet. Underfoot I am fine, but the top of me feet ache very much and AT times can hurt for hours on end.

I haven't notice a pattern with the type of footwear I wear or the amount of standing I do. I go though days of normality in my feet and then it appears.

I have noticed that some times I may have circulation issues with my feet but unsure if it's related or not.

Hope you're keeping better.

Xxxx

Mine isn't related to circulation either it just appears all of a sudden. X

Hi yes I get pain on the top of my feet, not all the time, it comes and goes. The pain is like a sting and the area is very sensitive . I have to wear flattish, comfy shoes. Hope yours improves. X

I know I've come to the realisation that flat shoes are for me too Furry awful as I'm only small too. X

Hi Mary :)

I get pain in both the top and bottom in my left foot but I've damaged it many times so have always put it down to that, though I have recently been told I have plantar fasciitis not sure if it affects the top of the foot as not that knowledgeable about it, sorry hunny :o

The best thing is to pay your GP a visit so he/she can check it over and decide if you need treatment for it.

Hope you find relief soon and sending pain busting fluffies to you

:) xxxsianxxx :)

Thanks I will mention it. The pain is above the three smaller toes and is like toothache sometimes comes on like a shooting pain. As you say Lisamouse, it's not particularly with standing or shoe style. X

So is mine it's really darn painful too!!

I'm seeing a podiatrist next week so hopefully will get some answers as well as the plantar faciitis confirmed too, doc says I have it in early stages but I think I've had it for years :o

Good luck Mary and hope you get answers soon. I shall let you know what my podiatrist says about the pain on the top of my foot if you like!?! :)

hi there, yes I had shooting pains like hot needles on the top of my feet, I believe mine was the destruction of bones as my feet are now quite deformed. you must get your doctor to examine. all the best Trish

Morning I am so sorry you are suffering ve trouble with my feet and it is dreadful. I canot walk at all well and feet are agony mostly the bones on the top of the foot, sometimes the arches and toes - they swell-

I have to elevate them all the time which does help a little but then when you put them down the blood rushes in and that is horrid/

I was sent to the podiatrist and he made insoles trouble is that was four years ago and now I only have one pair of boots that I can get on my feet.

I do hope you find some relief soon best wishes and gentle hugs.

I am so glad that you asked this question, as I thought I was the only one! I feel as though broken glass is being ground into the top of my feet! So far I have not found anything that helps, but I intend to keep looking as the pain is awful!
