I agree entirely. I can do so much from my seat. It's not so much entertainment as keeping in touch and finding out things. I'm aware there's a lot of garbage out there too. I'm selective about what I look at. I trust NHS.UK more than mr.angry.fromtunbridge.com. It's not always that obvious. HU and in particular fibro is great. The boys and girls are mostly loopy but kind, compassionate and knowledgeable. Sometimes things you don't get at home.
and what a help internet shopping is. along with mp3 downloads
You make a good point about the internet and what you read especially about Fibro. There are so called miracle cures and information that maybe should not be considered as accurate, please be careful & maybe don't believe all you read!
There is lots of research out there, if you are interested about learning a little bit about research here's some information;
FibroAction has the Information Standard certificate to ensure that the information we produce is clear, accurate, balanced, evidence-based and up-to-date. Please see link;
Thanks Emma. I'm already converted. There's a journalists saying, "never let the truth get in the way of a good story" and no dealer has a real interest in a cure, if that happened a ready source of income would dry up!!
Need new trainers for when i go to see podiatrist in10 days time as the others are old and battered no point getting inserts for them got to have time to break the new ones in too
I sincerely hope that you are as well as can be? I agree with you as the internet is a marvel of technology that has now, 'forever changed the world around us'. Did you see on the news last week that BT has tested the fastest ever broadband speed of over 40 terra-quads per second? This is equivalent to all the movies on sky each and every second. Unfortunately, we will not get access to this kind of download speed for at least a decade!
Mind you, Mdaisy does make a very valid point that there is a lot of stuff on the internet that we all should really steer clear of!
tes there is a lot of rubbish, but lots of good. I have written a number of books about the internet and magazine and tv, i have even worked with NHS andd US army using advanced internet speeds and software for treatment. I actually use one fprm of this were we cab have 100 people in any enviroment and teach or council, very unique and proven to help certain conditions.
Well Madddyyy can't disagree with you there because without the net we wouldn't have this site

One of my doctors looked a bit iffy when I mentioned the internet, I told him not to worry and that I would not be falling for quack cures. After all if there was a cure nobody would have fibro .I also pointed out that anything new that I had read I always verified on at least two brittish medical web sites before even starting to believe it. He seemed happier with that sue
