I saw it too. . . Great.

Um. . . I put a saucepan on a coaster. I then put the pan on the hob. It was only when I smelt and saw the smoke I realised the coaster was still attached :(

I lost one of the knobs in the three steps between the sink and the cooker, that was weeks ago and it still hasn`t turned up .son bought a new set I think he got tired of playing droughts with the three remaining knobs

Oh Sue! that is hilarious! but oh so true! I'm sure I will find myself in the oven one day with the scones sitting waiting to be popped in :D :D

Thanks for the chuckles :D :D

Aah! I hope it doesn't get this bad Mayrose! I love my kitty's far too much to do this to them.

How many do you have? I used to have three but after they had gone we decided not to have any more, it was too much of a problem finding someone to take care of them when we go on our family camping trips. The dogs always come with us.

I have two kitty's, they were from the cats protection as i've had rescue cats for years and love them. They are brother and sister, a male long haired black one and a short haired brindle tortoiseshell female. They love each other! I would love a dog but wouldn't be able to walk it and it wouldn't be fair. I would be lost without my cats though. Lucy the tortie one sits on my lap all the time, if you were to put a camera round her neck you'd only see my legs. She goes out for the loo and then straight back in bless her but Leo is a bit braver and goes off for a while but mostly stays at home. Take care

HAHAHAH I get the picture now Sue, this is very funny and makes sense now I see it LOL

It's the ears, not just the cats expression LOL

I've not been that bad but I have spent some time looking for a pair of glasses that were still on my head Oh! and the house keys which I put in the freezer and the following week I put them in the fridge :o No idea, no recollection! :o

...............And then there the pies I forgot I was cooking that came out of the oven like ice pucks :p OH stopped me from going near/using the cooker after that :o

The FOG maybe we should create our own spoof of the film xx

Have you ever read the fog. I find it gruesome rather than scary but then it was one of his early books they improved later on

I liked carrie and the shining

in reply to Maisie1

I was 11/12 the first time I watched Carrie and of course had no real idea of what was going on and what disturbed me most of all was the way those girls treat her. Being someone that never really fitted in anywhere and was friends with everyone, never chose sides and was worried that might happen to me (not the period part obviously!!)

I hadn't long since started secondary school and got bullied for having bad acne so I felt sad for Carrie's character and yet partially related to it. The scariness alluded me :D

The Shining however I also find very creepy and still give the odd jump :D Love it!!

Poor kitty doesnt look to happy.

I rarley watch films, especialy horror love reading them but not watching. I know I`m a wimp. The latest films and tv seiries seem to be nearer to the books. The Hunger games books are a close as possible. But I would give the BBC 10 out of 10 for my favarite book . Pride and predjudice, It follows the book word for word
